According to our experience, most people will be fine up to 3500m above sea level, as the altitude go higher up to 4500m, mild symptoms as shortness of breath, headache might occur. Adverse reactions may vary from person to person. In most cases, the symptoms are mild and will subside in several hours to several days as the body acclimatizes.

Day 1 Kathmandu Arrival
Kathmandu Airport Pick up & Check in HotelWelcome to Kathmandu, the colorful capital of Nepal. Upon arriving at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our enthusiastic local guide with smiles, then transfer to Kathmandu downtown to check in your hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle. The rest of today is on your own to relax. If you want to explore nearby, feel free to get some practical suggestions from your tour guide.
At evening, a "Welcome Dinner" will be held for you at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy a Nepalese cultural program as well as a fine dinner.
Free time ideas: 1) visit Garden of Dreams, Royal Botanical Garden; 2) Walk around Thamel, Ason or Indrachowk bazaar.

Day 2 Kathmandu - Nagarkot / 30km, About 1.5hrs' Driving (B)
Today's Highlights: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, BoudhanathToday’s activities start with a wonderful stroll around the grand Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is the social, religious and urban focal point of the city. With the complex made between the 12th and 18th centuries by the ancient Malla Kings of Nepal, it provides many interesting things to see, like Taleju Temple, Kal Bhairab (God of Destruction), Nautalle Durbar, Coronation Nasal Chowk, the Gaddi Baithak, the statue of King Pratap Malla, the Big Bell, Big Drum and the Jagnnath Temple etc. Then you will visit the Kathmandu’s most ancient and enigmatic holy shrine - Swayambhunath, also known as “Monkey Temple”. It lies 2km west of Kathmandu City. On the clear days, you are able to see a line of Himalayan Ranges. From its hilltop setting, you can get a fine view over Kathmandu of and the valley.
After that, move to see the giant Buddhist stupa - Boudhanath, the largest stupa in Kathmandu Valley at about 131ft (40km) high and one of the largest and most important Buddhist stupas in the world. The all-seeing red, white and blue eyes of Buddha are painted on all four sides of the stupa, similar to Swayambhunath, and surrounded by hundreds of fluttering prayer flags, prayer wheels and small images of Buddha. Leaving Boudhanath, you will drive about 34 km northeastward to Nagarkot. With an altitude of 2,715 meters, this place is an ideal place to enjoy the grandiose views of Mount Everest and some other high peaks over 7500m on the Himalaya Range. It time is right, you will catch up with the breathtaking sunset.
Stay overnight at Nagarkot.
Optional Activity: you can choose to take a Everest Mountain Flight in the early morning. From the airplane, fantastic Himalayan peaks, lakes and glaciers can be witnessed.

Day 3 Nagarkot - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu / 12 km (about 45mins' Driving) & 16km (about 45mins' Driving) (B)
Today's Highlights: Nagarkot Sunrise, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar SquareGet up early in the morning to catch the precious moment to watch the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Everest from Nagarkot, then get back to your hotel to have breakfast.
After having the fantastic time in Nagarkot, you’ll be transferred to another sister city of Kathmandu and Patan - Bhaktapur which is one of three medieval city-states in the Kathmandu Valley as well as the best preserved one with an altitude of 1,401 meter. With three different styles square - Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square and Dattatreya Square, it is the best place to explore traditional Nepalese architecture and local life and custom, also the best place to witness the great achievements of arts and crafts created by the famous Nepal's Malla Dynasty (1201–1769). Bhaktapur is also famous as the Town of the Devotees. There are many devout Hindus and Buddhists living in the city.
After the Bhaktapur visit, you will head to next destination - Patan, once a glorious independent kingdom, but now almost a suburb of Kathmandu city. It is known for the crowding Patan Durbar Square which is honored as the finest collection of temples and palaces with exquisite carvings in the whole of Nepal. It also attracts tourists with the treasures and souvenirs in the various shops around the square. The square consists of three main chowks, or courtyards - the central Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Main Keshab Narayan Chowk.
Leaving Patan, you will return back to Kathmandu city to visit Pashupatinath which is one of the world most sacred places of worship for the Hindus delicated to lord Shiva. This temple has a reputation of “the Temple of Living Beings”. Every day you will find hordes of people from all over Nepal and India pilgrimaging to the Pashupatinath Temple in order to give worship to Pashupati. They start off this process early in the morning where they are blessed by Lord Shiva. Each year there is a formal celebration called Shivaratri, which means “night of Lord Shiva”, that is attended by thousands of people.

Day 4 Kathmandu - Chitwan / 150km, About 5.5hrs' Driving (B)
Today's Highlights: Chitwan National Park,Tharu Cultural Program in ChitwanAfter having breakfast, you will be driven towards Chitwan,which is 150 kilometers from Kathmandu and a 5 hour's drive into the mountains.
All the way you'll descend down along the winding road on the banks of the Trishuli River. Chitwan has a particularly rich flora and fauna. Nepal’s 1st national park, the Chitwan National Park together with the adjacent Parsa Wildlife Reserve supports spices diversity much higher than any other on the Indian subcontinent. Rare species include Bengal Tiger, Gharial and the world’s second largest population of Asian Rhinoceros, but also Leopards, Mugger Crocodile, Indian rock python and several species of deer.
After checking into the hotel and getting refreshed you will be briefed about full nature programs by nature guide. Then you'll head on for activities. There will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle.
In the evening, dinner with cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums, popularly known as Tharu Cultural Program.

Day 5 Chitwan (B, L, D)
Today's Highlights: Wildlife Observation, Jungle SafariToday after breakfast, you’ll have a full day at Chitwan National Park, which has been declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
You will discover why the National Park holds an important place in preserving the wild lives that are rapidly getting extinct from this planet. You're almost sure to spot water buffalo, egrets, woodpecker, and deer in their natural habitat. The Park is also home to rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, 500 birds, butterflies, as well as the near extinct Gharials crocodiles.
You can do a number of activities here - an elephant safari, a nature walk, bird watching, a jungle drive or a canoe trip. You may even take a bath with an elephant and learn how to wash your elephant! Don't forget take a video of your elephant-bath which will be one of the fondest memories of the lifetime.

Day 6 Chitwan - Pokhara / 150km, About 5hrs' Driving (B)
Today's Highlight: International Mountain MuseumToday after having breakfast, you'll be driven to Pokhara which is about 140 kilometers from Chitwan (about 5-6 hours' drive). Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200 km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The enchanting city with a population of around 95,000 has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panaromic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. So today the city has not only become the starting point for most popular trekking and rafting destinations but also a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
After arrival, you will be taken to pay a visit to the International Mountain Museum which is devoted to the mountains of Nepal and the mountaineers who climbed them. Inside you can see original gear from many of the first Himalayan ascents, as well as displays on the history, culture, geology and flora and fauna of the Himalaya. The rest of today is free for you to explore some of Pokhara's marketplaces, old bazaars, and landmarks.

Day 7 Pokhara (B)
Today's Highlight: Sarangkot Sunrise, Peace Temple, Phewa LakeGet up in the early morning and go to Sarangkot to enjoy breathtaking sunrise. When the sun picks out the peaks, they are transformed from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. As the day breaks thoroughly, you can admire a wonderful panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks from west to east, which is praised as one of the most beautiful picture in Nepal. After the spectacular sunrise and landscape weeping at Sarangkot, you will drive to Peace Temple to see the brilliant World Peace Pagoda. The road to the pagoda is not in very good condition, but scenery is stunning. Constructed by the Buddhists from Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji organization, World Peace Pagoda expresses the good wishes of world peace. While seeing the enchanting natural sights around, you will also get a feeling of inner peace as well.
After lunch, you will visit Devil’s Fall, locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell’s Fall). It is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara Airport on the highway to Tanmen. Then, pay a visit to the nearby Gupteswar Gupha, which is a sacred cave. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all fours. Afterwards, you will have a relaxed journey in Phewa Lake which is the second largest lake in Nepal. You can take one of the beautifully painted boats to cruise on the lake or enjoy a relaxing biking around the lake. You will then visit the most important religious monument in Pokhara - Barahi Temple which is built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake. The two storied pagoda is dedicated to boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector deity representing the female force Shakti.

1) Paragliding into the sky to witness the magnificent view of the snow peaks and pristine lakes with an experienced pilot; 2) Enjoy a relaxing biking around Phewa Lake.

❶ Nature Day Hike from Australian Camp to Dhampus
After breakfast, drive about 40 mins from Pokhara to Kande, then start hiking to the Australian Camp, which costs around 2 hours. You can enjoy unobstructed scenery of snow mountains of both Annapurna Range and Dhaulagiri Range, beautiful terraces, peaceful villages along the hiking trail. After spending some time at Australian Camp, you will hike down through jungle to Dhampus, a community of local Gurang people with picturesque view of Annapurna mountains. Spend some time for lunching and exploring local culture, then walk down to Phedi, and drive back to Pokhara.
❷ Seti River Rafting Day Tour from Pokhara
Located only about 1 hr’s driving from Pokhara, the Seti River is the perfect venue for a rafting adventure. Day 8 Pokhara - Kathmandu / 200km, About 5.5hrs' Driving (B)
Drive from Pokhara to KathmanduAfter breakfast, you'll start your 200 kilometers and be driven back to Kathmandu. Better to hold on the left pane of the vehicle to enjoy the sceneries through the route. It would be an upward journey along the winding road that you came by. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to hotel. You can spend the evening leisurely, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping, visit freak streets etc.
Day 9 Kathmandu Departure (B)

Thanks for looking into our Bhutan hotel situation and for providing information into the hotels that were in our original itinerary.
Thimphu - we really liked Om Amriti. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were nice and comfortable, and the food delicious.
We wear hiking to the Tigers Nest when you sent your email so we did not receive your offer for the hot stone bath and services. We will be going to a restaurant for dinner in Paró tonight so we hope to have a nice farewell dinner this evening.

All the guides provided us an excellent service, they were very informative, forbearing and helpful about every matter along our stay (check in/out in the hotels, tickets for the attractions, rides, queues etc.), also the drivers were very skilled and safe in driving us to the many visited spots. The vehicles were in good condition of maintenance, we always found bottles of water on board for us (provided by the assistant driver). The daily organization of the visits in China and Nepal was mostly done in the perfect timing, respecting the schedule.!

- Conditions: Your activities are mainly arranged in Kathmandu Valley, Chitwan and Pokhara. The altitude in these places are less than 1,400 m, but the road condition is not quite good during the transfer. A little walking or climbing is involved in Nagarkot as you will watch sunrise over Mt. Everest. While be careful when you take part in activities in Chitwan such as elephant safari, a nature walk, bird watching, a jungle drive or a canoe trip.
